Catwalk Strutters Wanted for Wearable Art Extravaganza May 1-2, 2015

Last Fall's Wearable Art Extravaganza, hosted by the Miracle Providers NE, was a smashing hit. We're all up and eager to work on the next show, but we're looking for a little help. First on the agenda: MODELS. We need models and we're going to need some soon. All shapes, sizes, ages, genders welcome…. Well, maybe not children… nor animals.

Want to show off on the catwalk? Join us.

Designers are getting garments ready for the runway and the show set is in the works. Bodies are needed to fill our artistic creations, and if you have other performance skills, BONUS. The Extravaganza's Spring theme is Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. Everyone is excited about the theme, so we can tell already this show is going to be a lot of fun! As a model, you will be fitted for an element… or maybe two, or four ;-) Some of the designers (such as myself) are attempting costumes for all four elements, and since most models are shared, we're hoping to get as many people committed to the runway as possible, to avoid potential snafus.

Interested? Please fill out this form. We are going to have a meeting Monday, February 9th - if you can make it, please join us so that you can meet the various designers. If you're still on the fence about modeling, come to the meeting anyway. If you'd like to participate in a non-model way, there are other volunteer positions available, such as stage help, hair and makeup, and event assistance. The meeting is going to be held in the Onyx Room at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, Massachusetts (C/D Mill, 1st floor). Freely contact me if you need help with directions, or need a little more coxing to help out.

Samantha
